Task Management

Creating Tasks

To create a new task, follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to the Tasks page or open a project's task section.
  2. Click the New Task button.
  3. Enter a title and optional description for the task.
  4. Set the priority level (Low, Medium, High, Urgent).
  5. Choose a due date for the task.
  6. Assign the task to a team member.
  7. Click Save to create the task.

Task Assignment

Every task can be assigned to one team member. The assignee is responsible for completing the task and will receive a notification when the task is assigned to them. You can reassign tasks at any time by editing the task and selecting a different team member.

Project-Linked vs Standalone Tasks

Tasks can be linked to a specific project or created as standalone items. Project-linked tasks appear in the project's detail page and help you track work at the project level. Standalone tasks are useful for general work that does not belong to any specific project, such as administrative duties or internal meetings.

Editing and Deleting Tasks

You can edit any task by clicking on it and modifying its fields. Changes to status, priority, assignee, and due date are all supported. To delete a task, use the delete action from the task detail view or the task list. Deleted tasks are soft-deleted and can be recovered if needed.
