Using Reports
Expense Reports
The Reports page provides detailed expense reports that help you analyze spending patterns across your organization. Reports can be generated for specific time periods and filtered by various criteria. The data is presented in both tabular and visual formats for easy interpretation.
Filters
You can customize your reports using several filters. Date range lets you focus on a specific period. Client and project filters narrow the data to specific engagements. Category filters help you analyze spending in particular areas. Combine multiple filters to drill down into the exact data you need.
Chart Types
Reports include three types of charts. Pie charts show the proportional breakdown of expenses by category. Bar charts compare expense totals across projects or time periods. Line charts display trends over time, making it easy to spot increases or decreases in spending.
Reading and Interpreting Reports
When reviewing reports, start with the summary totals to understand the big picture. Then use the charts to identify patterns and outliers. Drill down into specific categories or projects that stand out. Reports are most useful when generated regularly and compared over time to track progress against budgets.
